Tom Brady challenges Lamar Jackson to foot race — with stipulations

Lamar Jackson has seen a lot from a pair prominent quarterbacks on social media after breaking Michael Vick’s single-season quarterback rushing record.

Vick released a Twitter video applauding the Baltimore Ravens quarterback for his feat.

Then, the New England Patriots quarterback challenged Jackson for a 40-yard dash, mentioning Jackson has to wear roller blades, On grass via a tweet.

“Me vs Lamar, 40 Yard Dash on natural grass but he has to wear rollerblades. Who’s buying the PPV?”

Yes it is compelling but still doesn’t sound like a equal race. If Jackson can be upright, we are guessing he’d overcome his drawbacks to take down the six-time Super Bowl champion.

If the opportunity knocks he will go for it fearlessly and is capable of running, Brady has shown the Kansas City Chiefs last week.

Post the game Jackson said “I’m gonna see what I can do,” but liked Brady’s chances considering the proposed handicap.

Brady has crossed the 1,000-yard rushing mark recently but that’s for his career.

Brady is an abundant quarterback sneaker despite the fact that he has been one of least nimble quarterbacks of his generation, having compiled the bulk of his 1,035 rushing yards on the one- and two-yard run variations while tallying 22 career touchdowns on the ground.

With 12 rushing scores through 29 games, it won’t take long for Jackson to overtake Brady in the rushing scoring column.

Here’s guessing that moment won’t get quite the hype Jackson did for passing Vick on Thursday.
